Can't sync Outlook Notes

I have Outlook 2003, Activsync 4.2, and a Mobile 5 smart phone.

The sync works fine with email, calendar, contacts... but there is no
Outlook Notes folder option to sync. When I go to configure the sessiong
(ActiveSync Tools >> Options), most all of the Outlook folders are there,
but
there is no "Notes" folder. I know that I've seen other threads say that
you
can sync the Notes folder, but I can't figure out what I'm missing. Can
anyone give me an idea of what configuration I need to change so the Notes
folder is a sync option?

Smartphones don't support Notes, so there is no point in syncing them. Check
your programs. Audio Notes, but no Notes.

This can be remedied by Smartphone Notes
(http://www.syncdata.it/sphnotes.html) or Phatware's PhatNotes for
Smartphone (http://www.phatware.com/phatnotes/phatnotesphone.html). Either
can add the ability to sync your Outlook Notes.

Thanks Sven... I guess I assumed too much... I just assumed that Outlook
Notes would sync... my ancient Palm Pilot did Seems like an odd
omission.

Any knowledge of a program that would sync with One Note?
