I can't tell if I am receiving updates

I had my settings on automatic updates. It suppose to do it eveyday. But I
have not seen anything added since july09. What can I do to see besides
manually update.
Help.

What operating system are you using including SP level?

Have you checked the history (for Windows XP) on the website or for Vista,
checked the installed updates?

Have you noticed any error codes and if so, what?

Using which settings?

The default settings are to do it at 3:00 AM local time.
Is that what you are using? Is your computer active then?

Use different settings? Leave your computer running and connectable
to the Internet whenever the updates are scheduled for?
