i can't turn on my autoupdate

i can't turn on my autoupdate and i know its a virus that is doing it. my
antivirus always detects new viruses everytime i turn on my computer. i kepp
on removing them but new viuses kept on coming in.

please help me.

Suggest you either bring the system to a reputable PC tech or visit a
reputable online anti-malware forum. If you choose the latter be sure to

The virus is probably hiding in the system restore files.
Turn off system restore in the control panel and then reboot and do a full
system virus scan.
Remove the virus' and then reboot and then turn system restore back on.

Sorry, that's BAD advice. NOTHING in system restore can infect the
system unless a restore point is used that contains malware.
One should clean a system FIRST and then toggle system restore on and
off to remove any *potentialy infecting* malware from it.

Put it this way ... would you rather be in a leaking lifeboat or adrift
at sea with *nothing* to cling to ?
