Hello,

I installed Vista Ultimate on a machine that came with Home Edition Premium.
I thought that the system would automatically join the network domain, but
nothing happened. I found an option called Network Discovery, click the On
option and the Apply button, but it change didn't take affect. Can anyone
help me get connected to the network?

Thank you and God Bless,

Mark A. Sam

It could be 3rd party software issue. For troubleshooting, please do clean
boot.

Bob, there is no 3rd Party software. I did a clean install of Vista
Ultimate and didn't install anything else.

Windows won't automatically join a domain, you need to manually
configure it to do so. You can find step-by-step instructions at
http://windowsitpro.com/article/arti...-a-domain.html

Hope this helps.
