can't type in message window

I can send and receive mail. However when I try to access the message window
to enter a message or reply to a message, there is no cursor and therefore I
cannot enter any text. This has not been a problem in the past, but has just
occurred today.

I am running Windows Mail on Vista.

You can try repairing the database (www.oehelp.com/WMUtil/), but I don't know if that will help. You might also try rebooting.

It could be due to antivirus software. See point 3 here: www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#3
