I tried through add remove programs and it didn't work, can't remove all
windows live programs like essentials, call or upload manager.

Edit
I just tried to uninstall using the revo uninstaller suggested by a friend
and tried reinstalling and this came up

I also tried jonathan kay's latest msn .89 or something version .msi and
this still came up.

Can any1 help and save me from reinstalling a fresh version of windows
vista, which I'm using?

I am using Vista Home Premium SP2, IE8, WLM 14.0.0726
Your " add remove programs " in my OS is called Programs and Features.
If I open Programs and Features, all programs associated with Windows Live
is grouped under the name Windows Live Essentials.
If I right- click it, and select Uninstall, I will be shown with a list of
programs, and I will be asked which one do I want to uninstall.
All I have to do is follow the prompts.
Does that sound familiar ?
I had once un-installed the Live Messenger, never had any problem.
Were you following the prompts/instructions ?

Greetings Diiimn,

What you're seeing is a registry permissions problem. It's the key for setting up the
Messenger Media Player plugin.

As a starting point, I would suggest you System Restore (click Start, type System Restore and
click the option), to before you used the Revo Uninstaller as that really is making it more
complicated than it should be.

Then to see what's really going on, click Start, then type regedit and press Enter to bring
up the registry editor. Navigate to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\MediaPlayer\ UIPlugins and see if you get any errors
going through any of the keys underneath there.

If you do, make a note of which keys where the permission errors start. You can then either
post back that information, or depending on the precise state of the permissions, as an easy
fix, just go to up to where they are still working (say the MediaPlayer key perhaps),
right-click it, choose Permissions, then Advanced, click the 'Replace all existing
inheritable permissions on all descendants with inheritable permissions from this object' and
click OK.
