I can't uninstall xp service pact 2

I go in add and remove program click on sp 2 it opens, the wizard and it goes
through the steps fine, check marks apear, and then the last one won't appear
and it stays there. Help please SP 2 is screwing things on my pc and i wan't
it out of there, my winap does not work anymore, windows media player 9 does
not work!! Its driving me nuts pleaze help!

Use XP System Restore function and select a restore point
that is pre sp2 install.
