can't update anythingi becuase i am to dumb.

I can't do any updates of Microsoft and I’m using home addition. I am lucky
that i was able to find this area but let me assure you I will be to dumb to
find this again. It goes to show how dumb I am. This problem has to do with
user permissions that all the fixes that I have been able to find is for the
pro XP and not Home. Should I just toss this dame thing out?
