can't update to Window XP SP2

I recently restored my computer from my Emachines restore disc. Now, when I
run windows update, service pack 2 is not even an option. Before restoring
my computer, I had service pack 2 installed without any problems. Why
wouldn't I be able to upgrade my computer to Service Pack 2 again? Thanks
in advance for any resolutions for this issue.
