I have Win XP and IE 8. When I open a Web page I have to use the horizontal
scroll bar to see the entire page. This procedure is not necessary if I use
Firefox. What can I do to fix IE 8? Thank you,

What zoom level are you using? Look in the lower right corner.

Set the zoom level to 100%. There is an adjustment in the corner near the
clock, or you can click View>Zoom. With the widespread use of wide screen
monitors, MSoft seems to think that you want the zoom to be defaulted to
125%.

The Zoom Level is only shown in the bottom right corner (near the clock) if
the Status Bar is set to be displayed. If the Status Bar is not being
displayed, the way to get to the Zoom level is to click View>Zoom.
View>Toolbars will give the option to display the Status Bar.

Use a higher monitor resolution.
