Does anyone know if there is a way to capture emoticons when using Live
Messenger on a Mac?

Thanks in advance,

David

Greetings David,

Can you clarify "capture"? Just like the Windows version, you apparently (I've only been
told, I don't have a Mac) you can just right-click emoticons and choose "Add" to add them to
your own.

Hi Jonathan,

Just that, by capture I meant right-click and Add.

[side note - well done MS for fixing the bug that stopped me doing this with
the last version, working brilliantly now]

I don't have a Mac either but a good friend, and regular Live Messenger
correspondent, does. Apparently the Mac does not have a "right-click"
function so she cannot grab emoticons by any method I can suggest.

My thinking was that there may be a way of copying an emoticon collection
and installing directly but not sure if that is possible, or even a good
idea if it is.

David

Hi David,

There is a right-click. She'll either need to plug in a two button mouse or she can hold
down Ctrl on the keyboard and then click to get the right button menu.
