I know that if you run chkdsk on a non operating system drive, it will
run within windows and you can see the results in the event log. But
when you run chkdsk on the OS drive, you have to do it with a restart
and the results aren't saved in the event log. How do you capture
chkdsk results on the OS drive?

It's located in Event Viewer -> windows protocols -> application, item
"wininit" and click on it to view ..or doubler click it to bring another
window up with it.

I'm amazed, I checked there yesterday and I couldn't find it. But I
look again today and it's there.

Thanks.
