CD autoplay problems and CD not recognized

I am trying to install a cd into my computer and trying to get it to autoplay
or run. That's not happening with multiple CDs. I've tried going to run
and its not even recognizing that a disc is in the drive. I've went to disk
manager and everything is supposedly working properly. I don't have iTunes
on my computer, either. I have a Hitachi Device.

How do I fix this problem? Please someone help.

Have you checked the settings in Control Panel (Classic view) > AutoPlay?

Double click to run the file. Accept the addition to the registry.

Reboot. Put in the Audio CD or Movie DVD and watch it start correctly.

I did change the autoplay settings in the Control Panel. That didn't help.
