CD Burning with iTunes

"New computer with Vista and cannot burn or import a disc with iTunes.
Message reads "Disc recording not found." Also when I open iTunes, it says
"iTunes not properly installed, if you wish to import or burn cds, you need
to reinstall iTunes." I have reinstalled iTunes several times.

Are you running Windows Vista x64?
