CD/DVD devices code 32 problem - Vista/XP-2 system

Cd drive and Dvd drive on partioned drives Vista Business and XP2 Home. Tried
forum suggestion but didn't work. Now have the two devices showing but can't
move code 32 away or remove YELLOW hyphen mark. Tried uninstall and
re-install nothing works. Tried the forum link that also did nothing and
after running many versions of Vista for close to a year-why now?

Thank you Peter but took another approach as found I had used AutoRuns for
Windows v8.61 and now had too many errors. So re-installed Vista again just
like the old XP days. Problems solved now to work on that Lexmark printer
again as even they couldn't get it going in Vista with the new drivers
installed.
