CD Playback Does Not Begin With Track 1

I found out that when I insert a CD to be played, it
doesn't always begin playing Track 1. It tends to skip
around randomly. Has anyone ever had this particular
problem?

WMP7 Has a menu item under 'Play' called 'Shuffle'

If it is checked (selected) it will shuffle the tracks on your CD.

Which player version do you have - it might be different on WMP9 (I'd
have to check ;-)

I have the latest version of WMP 9. I'll see if the Shuffle option is selected.
