There is something wrong with my cd burner. The PC works
fine. But when a CD is placed in the drive and closed, the
CD light remains lit and the PC freezes. When I try
ejecting the cd, nothing happens. The light remains lit as
if the PC was still reading the CD. I have tried it
without a CD and the same happens. Can someone please help
me out and advise me what might be wrong. I am not sure if
it is a virus or just an old driver or the burner is old
and needs replacing.
