cdrom is opening and closing after wake up from sleep it is scary.

I need a religous person to do remval of a demonized cdrom player that opens
and close all by it self on wake up from sleep mode. The other day I clicked
on microsoft office help and it started installing all by itself its I think
dont want to say it.

Any chance you're running Nero on that PC? I've got a user with the same
symptom, who ended up figuring out Nero was the cause.

If you do happen to have Nero, you might check their web site to see if
there are compatibility updates relevant to Vista.
