i have an user that has installed a certificate in ie8
now i get the error

This CA Root certificate is not trusted, To enable trust install this
certificate in the Trusted Root Certification Authorities store.

I cant reinstall it and i cant find it installed anywhere to delete it
Ive tried clearing the SSL cache and looked in certmgr.msc

any suggestion how i can clear it or fix the error message

many thanks

Under what conditions does that error message appear? Is the error message
repeatable?

Where did the user get the certificate, and why was s/he installing it?

Are you looking for it while logged on using the same userid that gets the
error message?
