That is possibly your "problem". This is not supported by MS, each NIC which
you want to use in your Failover Cluster MUST be on separate subnets.

No, this is done automatically by the cluster. NETFT should be responsible
for this.

PS : As you had mentioned "failover cluster" my answer does belongs to
Windows 2008/R2 clusters.

Hi:

We have a lab with two nics. On hosts, named HostSAN and HostLAN. Created
virtual NICs for each, so the guests can also use the nic's for LAN and SAN
access.

These nics are on the same subnet, and will be, its a lab.

The HostSAN nic was first in the binding order when the cluster was built,
so it is used for the cluster network. My HostLAN NIC's do not display.

I've since changed the binding order in windows and rebooted, but the
cluster still uses the HostSAN NIC's.

There is not a way to just ADD the other NIC's and set them to be using in
the Failover Cluster Manager.

Wondering if anyone can provide input on how to flip my existing Hyper-V
cluster to use the other NIC's on each nost.

Thanks,
Tim Kanive
