Change Icons?

I know the process to change icons in Vista - seems the same
as in W-2000. But, in W-2000 one could go to something I
remember as progman32 and find a very large selection of
icons. Vista has a browse button, but it doesn't seem to
lead to a selection of icons.

Suggestions?

Thanks to you, and to Andre, since your suggestions got me
to the place I was seeking: c\windows\system32\shell32.dll

Thanks again. Problem solved.

That's fine for shortcuts, pity Vista gives us no way of changing
default icons for file types.
