Change Mouse Pointer Speed

Windows Vista sets a default mouse pointer speed at something which should be comfortable for all users. However, if you find this too slow or too fast, the speed can be changed to suit your needs.

To change the mouse speed, load the Run box by pressing WINDOWS KEY + R and then run main.cpl:

Then click the Pointer Options tab at the top of the Mouse Properties window:

From the Motion menu you can move the slider to increase or decrease the mouse pointer speed. Once you have trialled out different speeds, click OK to confirm the new pointer speed settings:
