change windows and gmail default to msn

Read your response dtd 4/07 similar problem, however, doesn't help my issue.
I tried to hyperlink and email to a very trusted site, a question came up,
answered yes (thinking it was asking me something else), then received
message "Windows Mail could not be started, another instance of it is still
running..Restart your pc. THEN it took me to Windows Mail with the address
typed in from the hyperink. I don't want to use Windows Mail to hyperlink or
send web pages - What can I do to change this? AND the WIN MAIL keeps
trying to open. Also, it sometime brings up gmail when sending a web page. I
WANT TO USE MY MSN ONLY. A solution would be appreciated and would it also
change default for the other user with their own email verizon & msn?
