I've been checking on ways to rename our internal domain name as the company
that owns the servers has changed. I ran across
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/l...48(WS.10).aspx, which
appears to indicate this can't be done with Exchange 2010. Is there another
way? Thank you.

Unfortunately, at this time a domain rename is not possible with Exchange 2007 or 2010. You would either need to uninstall Exchange 2010 out of the org (backing up all mailboxes & pub folders into PSTs, etc), or migrate into a new domain/forest. My preference is a migration, since I personally don't like to rename a domain and would rather move into a fresh setup.

I wrote a little blog on this. I hope you find it useful.
