Norton identifes two trojans and a virus at the "recommended" site.

Let me add that Norton has found false positives on my computer. Some
of them were associated with product number hacks that I downloaded
when I was helping someone recover his files. Maybe the same is true of
the software on the site in question here. Or not :-)

I purified it with a spray of bosons.

For a few years I avoided Norton like the plague (there's a pun hidden
in there, I'm sure).

Recent reviews had indicated that they have reformed, so I tried Norton
Internet Security 2009, and liked it well enough to buy NIS 2010 (which
was cheaper than extending my 2009 subscription).

Just goes to show you that I can overcome my prejudices, if not those
of others :-)

It is not without flaws. I know, you're Shocked - Shocked, I say...
