Brink-
I have been purusing these threads to find someone that can help me. Will
April's fix work for me?
I screwed up something in my regsitry when I was fixing a malicious hijacker
in my IE search engine. My file extensions, in set associations are about 1/2
gone as far as defaults programs. The biggest problem is-Windows Mail in
Vista.
You know how when ever you get an e-mail and in the body of it is a link to
click or a "ClickHere" symbol?? Well, all emails with those type of things in
the body of the e-mails won't open, a box pops up that says "There is no set
asscociation for this file type (what type is it anyway??). Please go to set
file extensions to set it. Yeah, right! There are about a million in there
that I don't even recognize and 1/2 of them say "Unknown Application". So,
will April's issue and fix , fix my Windows Mail issue?
Thanx ahead of time. Greg
