Changing colors -other- than the window border

So, I've changed my window borders to "Graphite", and they look quite nice.
Now, how do I go about changing everything else (it's all blue...) to
something that looks better with the graphite borders?

Of course, I started in the "Appearance Settings" window, under "Advanced",
and messed around with all sorts of things there, none of which can get rid
of this blue color.

Specifically, I'm talking about the blueish tabs in IE, the blue menus in
explorer windows, the huge chunk of blue above the page in FireFox. Any help?

right click on desktop> personalization> themes > select the vista aero one
and everything will revert back to the default settings

Right, I don't want the default settings, I want -less blue- settings.

in that same window that you pressed GRAPHITE there is a small round button
that says:

SHOW COLOR MIXER
from there you can further change the colors
