Changing default from sleep to shut down

When attempting to shut down Home Premium , the default box says "sleep".
How do I make the default box show shut down instead of sleep?

There isn't a way I have found other than setting your power button to do
the job.

On that note, what the hell happened to "ask me what to do" when the power
button is pushed?

Control Panel---Power Options. Find the current power option profile your
using (it'll have a radio button filled). Now under that Setting click on
"Change Plan Settings"

In the next window, click Change Advanced Power Settings

Ckick on Power Buttons and Lid

Click on Start menue power button

Click on Sleep and a dropdown will magically appear. Make your change to
shutdown for either of the power modes.
