I want to seperate my data from my applications. In windows XP i had a
seperate HD and i could easily change the location of my deocuments and all
the data folders for all applications where redirected to my second hard
drive. In Vista someone had a terrible idea to change this great feature and
now every data directory is put in root of the user accounts (instead of User
-> My documents and then my video, need foor speed, ....... We now have User
with my video's, need for speed, documents)
What this change i have te redirect the data folder after each install of a
application.

Does anybody know how i can change vista options after which user
directory's are set on my second hard drive

Regards,

Alexander

Thanks,

But i this isn't what iám looking for. this article describes my problem. In
vista you have move every personal data folder manualy. where there is one
personal data folder in XP there can be dozens of personal data folders in
Vista after each installation of a software package there can be a new data
folder.

I want to change the location of the user folder
