Changing Mail Fonts.

I would like to change the font used when I send a email. No matter what I
choose in Tools/Options/Compose the font in the message does not correspond
to what I chose. It seems to remain in the installed default font whatever
that is.

Will someone please tell me how to change the font in outgoing messages?

Thank you.

Hi, Jack.

Are you composing in Rich Text (HTML)? Or in Plain Text?

In your Compose window, you can click Format and choose between HTML and
plain text. This is in addition to the Tools | Options | Compose settings
on the main WLM Menu Bar. (Press <Alt> if you don't see the Menu Bar; it is
hidden by default.)

Are you looking at the font in the message on your (sending) end? Or have
you seen what the recipient sees? Much of what the other party's computer
displays depends on the settings on THAT computer. You may be sending in
HTML but the other recipient has his WLM set to "Read all messages in plain
text".

Thank you for your reply and questions. The latter pointed me in the right
direction.

I was sending messages from my laptop to desktop for this test. Laptop was
sending HTML and Desktop reading Plain Text. Now that I have changed the
Desktop to HTML it works as expected.

Thanks again.

Hi, Jack.

You're welcome. And thanks for the feedback.

Sometimes the right question is as good as the right answer. ;^}
