Changing Nickanmes

If I change my nickname, then soon after change it back to what it is... in
a few minutes it'll change back to what i changed it to;
i.e.,

1:00: Name is Bob.
1.10: Name is Bob - Happy New Years!
1.15: Name is Bob
1.17: Name is Bob - Happy New Years!

wha~?
