Since Windows 98, I've been using power profiles to quickly change how
long the delay is before the screen blanks. I just bought a new Vista
computer with Vista Home Premium. However I can't find an option to
display them in the notification area in vista. There is no "advanced"
tab in the control panel.
I've been using Vista for less than three hours, more than one of
which was performing a backup since Gateway was discourteous enough to
inform me that they couldn't be bothered to provide restore CDs and
that I need to make them myself. I apologize for the newbie question,
but a quick Google search has only yielded the XP instructions.
