changing registry permission programmatically

You should be aware that changing permissions for registry entries could
very well screw your OS, even to that point where it will not be functional
anymore.

Thanks for your advice. I will be careful. I have some requirements
where I have to do this. Do you know the correct way to change
permission programmatically?
