Chat messages end up in email?

There has a been a number of instances where a conversation message on WLM
will end up in the email instead when i'm talking to a person.

as far as i can see its random. but its still annoying as part of the
conversation gets lost there.

both of us are using WLM. it doesnt matter what mode we are in, it still
have happened before.

is there anyway i can disable or avoid that problem?? thanks

Unreliable dialup connections may have a problem with this. If one of you
happens to drop off momentarily during the conversation, it my get sent as
an email rather than an IM. One of messages I received was sent to me as an
email in precisely this manner (I being the one with the unreliable dialup
connection).

both of us are on broadband.

since its WLM, if anyone drops or have an unstable connection, the message
is supposed to be saved as an 'offline message' rite?
