There is a way to beat the statistics in Vista Chess.
When you are going to lose the game, but before
the checkmate, simply save the game. A saved game
does not count in the statistics. The next time you
are going to lose, save the game again. It over writes
the previous saved game and neither is counted in
the stats.

To have the appearance of accomplishing something without actually doing it.
You know, like a politician.

Oh dear keith!!!!!!!!!!

Right now its essential that you follow these instructions carefully. Go
START - SHUTDOWN. Stand up and walk away from the computer. Leave the room
as quickly as possible, without looking back.

Put on your coat, leaving the keys on the hall stand (so it will take some
while to get back to the computer). Collect the dog (if not a piece of
string and a brick will make a useful substitute). Leave the house and shut
the door firmly behind you. Now walk the dog for a least an hour.

HTH
