Checking if your computer has the latest version of Windows updati

My computer goes thru the whole process of downloading the latest version of
software, then tells me it was unable to download and the error message I get
is:
0x8024D007 - Has anyone ever seen that message before?

Yes! and none of the solution from this board or Microsoft help.!

I HAVE read through the threads and although there are many suggestions NONE
of them worked for me.
