happening. I was able to used the new version once and that is it. I have
registered all of the DLL. i have tried the stoping the auto update service
and deleteing the two items. Nothing seem to correc this problem. I have

Give this a try:
Make sure to click OK or hit ENTER after each one...

(Use 'copy & paste' to prevent spelling errors)

1-Click Start, click Run and then type this:
net.exe stop wuauserv

2-Click Start, click Run and then type this:
regsvr32 /s wuapi.dll

3-Click Start, click Run and then type this:
regsvr32 /s wups.dll

4-Click Start, click Run and then type this:
regsvr32 /s wuaueng.dll

5-Click Start, click Run and then type this:
regsvr32 /s wuaueng1.dll

6-Click Start, click Run and then type this:
regsvr32 /s wucltui.dll

7-Click Start, click Run and then type this:
regsvr32 /s wuweb.dll

8-Click Start, click Run and then type this:
regsvr32 /s jscript.dll

9-Click Start, click Run and then type this:
regsvr32 /s atl.dll

10-Click Start, click Run and then type this:
regsvr32 /s softpub.dll

11-Click Start, click Run and then type this:
regsvr32 /s msxml3.dll

12-Click Start, click Run and then type this:
net.exe start wuauserv

Reboot and try the Windows Update site again.
