Is a clean install from my upgrade disc possible...on REinstall?

The Media Center portion of my Vista Home Premium OS appears to be corrupted
(possibly some .NET Framework 2.0 issue). I'm trying to decide whether to
"upgrade" in place (effectively, I hope, repairing the install) or to
reformat and use the well-documented workaround to do a clean install from
the disc.

Is the latter option still possible given that this would be a second
installation? Does it matter that Windows Gen-U-Wine Advantage is keeping
track of this install? If I try the upgrade/repair option and the results
are unsatisfactory, is there any reason I couldn't *then* got to Plan B?

Thanks, all.

Hi Pye,

If the repair option is not satisfactory for you, then you should have
no problem doing a clean install with a Upgrade version of Vista.

Repair install :

Clean Upgrade install :

Hope this helps,
Shawn
