Hey Rage,
Uninstalling Messenger will just remove the files in the Windows Live Program Files folder.
It won't remove any registry entries (beyond the installer stuff, application settings, the
Messenger cache folders, etc.)
Although there's plenty of locations of these things, the important ones that would actually
make any difference are at HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\MSNMessenger in the registry
and at \Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Messenger
(XP) or \Users\username\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Messenger (Vista/7).
Where username is the Windows username and some of the folders may be hidden by default
depending on what your Windows Explorer settings are set to. Given our previous interactions,
I know I don't need to really go into a complete detail here. Most of these things are
pretty self explanatory given their filenames anyway.
