When I click on a blank area of a directory Explorer window, and
choose "New", I get these choices:

* Folder
* Shortcut
* Bitmap Image
* Contact
* Microsoft Word Document
* Journal Document
* Microsoft Access Application
* Text Document
* Microsoft Excel Worksheet
* Compressed (zipped) Folder
* Briefcase

Does anyone know where to go in the registry in order to disable
about 3/4 of these?

Thanks for your time & attention to detail.

Thanks for the excellent reference. That thread at vistax64.com
got me on the right track;
I've already got several of the unsolicited right-click entries weeded
out, and still working on it.
<I dig having a tweaky-clean computer!>
Thanks again [:-P & have a great rest-of-the-weekend.

Your welcome Riprap.

In addition, the free program "ShellExView" is a nice program to also
use to help remove any unwanted Context Menu items.

'ShellExView - Shell Extension Manager For Windows'
