How do I safely remove the left panel of my hard drive so I can clean it out?
I removed the screw but can't get the panel to budge.

You more than likely mean your computer case. The box that contains all the
heart and soul components that compose your computer. The motherboard, the
RAM (memory), the hard disk drive, the video card, the communications device
(network card, modem, both), you CD/DVD drive(s), possibly other components.

Every computer case is different.
Although - there are usually more than one screw and/or no screws and
something to press on to release things.

And if you're trying to take the cover off your hard drive - stop.
