Is there a method to clear or empty the Recent Cluster Events? Once I have
resolved the issue I would like to start on a clear event list.

I am assuming that you are referring to Windows 2008 clusters which displays
a list of recent events. Unfortunately, this isn't as simple as it should be
to clear this display. The "Recent Cluster Events" list displays a
collection of warnings and errors from the System Event logs from each node.
If you want to clear the numbers displayed in the "Recent Cluster Events"
list, you would need to clear the System Event logs on all nodes and then
re-start the Failover Cluster Management MMC.

John

You can actually right click Cluster Events in Failover Cluster Management and select "Query".

Then change the "From: Events On" at the bottom to your current date and time minus one minute. This will only now show events from the current date/time and on.

John, I guess some people need really fewer words, like Event log for dummies
