Clearing Clipboard

How do you clear the clipboard contents in Windows Vista?

The last thing you copy overwrites the clipboard. For example, if you copy
the letter "a" the only thing in your clipboard would be "a".

Hello.

When I want to "erase" what I have on the clip board, I open a word
document, type something like "test" and copy that to the clip board.
That way anything that was there before is deleted.

Create a shortcut with the command :
cmd /c "echo off | clip"
