Hi,
Yes, a non AD client can get updates from a WSUS server that is
in an AD domain.

If you still are not able to make it work, I suggest you post the
registry values you have to the newsgroup dedicated to WSUS:
microsoft.public.windows.server.update_services

Or use a newsgroup reader (default Outlook Express) to access this new
group:
