This only happens to me with Vista Ultimate (and not XP pro I'm dual booting
with Vista): sometimes, after a couple of copy/pastes in my document editing
(mainly MS Word), when I want to paste anything else (like a link into an
e-mail message) the paste stops working.

I suspect sort of the clipboard overflow,as it's enough to re-login and the
copy/paste functionality is back.

Is it a knows problem, and is ther a way to flush the buffer without
re-logging?

On the Word Edit menu, click "Office Clipboard" and rightclick any clipboard
item to 'Delete'

The Vista clipboard clears with each use. Word has its own clipboard system
and can retain up to, I believe 24 iterations of the clipboard data. I do
not experience your problem.

No, it's not that - even afterexiting Office, the copy/paste is
unfunctional!
