Where is the clipboard viewer?

64-bit Vista Home Premium

I just tried to view the contents of the Vista clipboard and discovered
that I couldn't do it.

I did some research and read that a few people got around this by copying
clipbrd.exe from their XP system and dropping it into Vista's system32
folder, but there were apparently issues in so doing.

Is there any way I can view the clipboard contents?

Tom

Hi,

> Is there any way I can view the clipboard contents?

Not without pasting it into a program like paint or wordpad. Vista uses the
snipping tool for capturing screen shots.

You could try ClipMagic... free for non-commercial use.

As you say you can copy clipbrd.exe over from XP. "Issues" are not always
unsurmountable.

You have to admit it; Bing it sounds better than Google it!

Not in my opinion. But let's agree to disagree here.
