every time the computer starts up, it starts up in the year 2000 or 2001. I
have reset clock every day for last month

Hi there,

Not a windows update issue really

This indicates that the computers bios ( Basic Input Output System) lost its
bios setting, it might be your bios backup battery is bad.

Replace it for a new one.
