Clock on your clock, then on the link "change date and time settings..."

Make sure you are set to the correct time zone.

Vista clocks are self correcting to online time servers, but only if you
have it set on the correct time zone.

Hi mike

You might also want to replace the battery on your motherboard. It ma
be getting weak, thus not keep timing accurately when the computer i
off

Hope this helps

It would be highly unusual for a weak battery to cause the clock to
*gain* time. And if it is jumping head exactly one hour, it's
certainly not the battery. A battery problem would not cause such a
precise and regular change.

If the other remedies fail to correct the jumping go into the settings
and open the Internet Time TAB -- turn OFF the synchronize setting.

Oddly enough I've seen this cure the jumps. If getting the right time
to seconds is important use a utility like NISTime from the place where
the atomic clocks are.
