Acronis True Image, Norton Ghost, HDClone ...

Or you could go for a virtual solution. VMWare offers tools to create a
virtual disc from a physical disc. You can then run that virtual disc using
their player or workstation software.

Probably. But I'm not aware of any. HDClone has a free version
(http://www.miray.de/products/sat.hdclone.html). You can also run VMWare for
free.

or for mirror purposes. In the latter case, network settings might have to
be changed and new software licenses might be required.

images and has helped me a few times
