Suggestion; Use the close button of Window update only for closing a window,
not for restarting the computer.
Just had a nasty experience with the Windows Vista Update. Windows Update
wanted to install a 'critical update' (for an iPod, which I don't use), so I
let it. In the mean time I worked on. When it was done, it popped up a window
over the window I was working in, saying it was done and needed a restart.
There was a big 'Restart' button in the middle of that window. I was in the
middle of something complicated, so a restart was not what I wanted to do. I
therefore pressed the Close button in the upper right corner of the window. I
expected that this would simply close the window (see Windows Help and
Support, Windows Basics, Working with Windows). To my horror it closed
everything and restarted the computer. This while I was doing work that
cannot withstand such a sudden restart. Windows update should never do this.
A restart should only be performed when the user really wants it, that is;
presses the restart button, not when the window is closed.
